Terms of service

Using the site means accepting these. They are written to be read once and understood, not to be impressive.

Last updated 4 September 2026

Who you are contracting with

PromptCaret is operated by Prateek Chaudhary, a sole proprietor in India (“we”). These terms are governed by Indian law, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.

What the service is

A tool that scores the structure of a written prompt and suggests a rewrite. The score counts whether the parts of a prompt are present; it is pattern matching and cannot judge whether what you wrote inside those parts is any good. A high score is not a promise of a good answer from any AI model, and no result here is professional advice of any kind.

Your account

Scoring needs no account. An account, created through Google or Apple, is required to buy a pass so that access can be attached to an email address. Keep control of that address — anyone who can sign in to it can use your pass. Tell us at support@promptcaret.com if you believe it has been misused.

Who owns what

Your prompts stay yours. Writing one here transfers nothing. You also own the rewrites the tool produces from them, and you may use them commercially without attribution.

The site itself — the scoring engine, the lessons, the guides, the drill briefs and the design — stays ours. Publishing a prompt to the community board or the daily drill grants us permission to display it publicly on the site; it stays yours, and you can ask for it to be taken down at any time.

Fair use

Do not use the service to:

  • publish content to the community board or the drill that is unlawful, hateful, or that contains someone else’s personal information;
  • script, scrape or otherwise automate access in a way that degrades it for other people;
  • resell the AI rewrite as though it were your own service, or work around the daily limits.

Accounts and posts that break these can be removed. Where a paid pass is ended for a serious breach, it is not refunded.

Payment

Passes are one-time purchases processed by Razorpay, priced as shown on the pricing page. Nothing auto-renews. Passes are not refundable, and billing errors are corrected — the refund policy sets out exactly which is which, and forms part of these terms.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as it is. We aim to keep it running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change. Free features may be changed or withdrawn; a pass you have already paid for will be honoured for its term.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including anything arising from decisions you make based on a score or a rewrite.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the date at the top will change when they are. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it. See also the privacy policy.
